HOW TO GET TO US:

From the airport is less than 5 minutes:

  • Leaving the airport take Road 26 (west) to San Juan.  Keep on the right lane for half a mile until you see the sign to Isla Verde / Marginal Villamar (Road 37).  Take that  exit to the right at Burger King.  Make a left at the traffic light unto Isla Verde Ave. (Road 37) and follow until the next traffic light. (You’ll see Grande Supermarket at your left.)  There make a left and cross the bridge.  At the end of the bridge make another left and take Marginal Villamar.  We are located at the last corner of the third block.  Pass under the pedestrian bridge, make a right, then make a u-turn to our entrance. 

From Old San Juan:

  • Take Road 26 (east) to Carolina.  Stay on the right lanes until you see the Isla Verde / Marginal Villamar (Road 37).  Take the ramp up to your right and pass the traffic light unto Marginal Villamar.  We are located at the last corner of the third block.  Pass under the pedestrian bridge, make a right, then make a u-turn to our entrance.

Villa Verde Inn is conveniently located at Marginal Villamar 1295 in Isla Verde.  Highly accessible, less than 5 minutes from  Luis Muñoz Marin San Juan International Airport, East, and 10 minutes from  the Cruise Ship Piers in Old San Juan, West.  The famous avenue in front of us, Baldorioty de Castro, #26, takes you to any part of the Island you plan to go. 

BY BUS:       (exact change needed: 75 cents)

 

From the Airport: Isla Verde now counts with an area shuttle, SiTrac, which goes around the Isla Verde Ave. every 25 minutes.  Is free and it will drop you off right in front of our entrance.  They accept luggage but no surfing boards.  To get to the SiTrac from the airport take bus B43 and get off in front of the Metropol restaurant.  There, wait for the SiTrac which is a red bus.  Stay on it until you arrive at Villa Verde Inn.

 

From Old San Juan: is a 45min to 1 hour ride.  The bus number is A5. Take it all the way to Isla Verde and get off at the Howard Johnson.  Walk towards the Burger King and you will see the pedestrian bridge to your right, next to Banco Popular.  You can already see our entrance from Burger King.  Important: if you don’t feel like crossing the bridge( is forty-steps up and forty more down) you can get out on any stop after the Howard Johnson’s stop and cross the Isla Verde Ave. then get on the SiTrac shuttle.  Is a red bus that comes around every 25 minutes, is free and accepts luggage, the only thing they don’t accept are surfing boards.  The SiTrac will drop you off right in front of the hotel.  Is like our own private shuttle from and to the Isla Verde Ave!

Villa Verde Inn is just next to the Isla Verde pedestrian bridge, not like Coqui Inn that is in the back street far away from Isla Verde Beach. If you have a confirmed booking at Villa Verde Inn, please make sure that your taxi driver does not confuses us with Coqui Inn- since they used to be called 'Green Isle Inn' which is similar to Villa Verde Inn in Spanish.  If you are walking over the pedestrian bridge from Isla Verde Avenue, just look to you right and you will see Villa Verde Inn, just cross the street to our lobby under the Villa Verde Inn's green canopy.
